SaraVon Davenport-Gardner is a visionary creative, entrepreneur, inventor, and cultural leader with over 25 years in the performing arts and 20 years in executive leadership, including roles at Tyler Perry Studios and national megachurches.

She has performed and collaborated with icons across film, theater, television, and music—from Jennifer Holliday to Akon, Tony Award-winning directors, and Grammy-winning artists. Her credits include Respect, Joyful Noise, House of Payne, and national theater tours like Madea’s Farewell.

SaraVon is the founder of Sailove Entertainment & Productions, The Sailove Firm, Sailove Label, and The Sailove Warehouse—ventures designed to empower creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She is also the inventor of 50+ products and systems, including patent-pending fashion and jewelry designs, and proudly helped her father secure his first patent at age 73.

My “why” begins with my parents. My father has always been an inventor. With only a high school education, a family to support, and an unrelenting work ethic, he carried more ideas than access. My parents gave us a beautiful life—rooted in love, stability, and values—but opportunity was always the missing ingredient. Year after year, I would watch ideas just like his surface on television, in magazines, and in markets, brought to life by those who had the backing he never did. That experience taught me early that brilliance isn’t rare—access is.

My father is also a musician, a gifted guitar player whose dream of “making it big” never arrived in conventional form. Yet he practices every single day. Not out of regret, but out of devotion to the craft. His joy, discipline, and contentment in the life he and my mother built revealed to me that creativity does not need validation to be worthy—but it does deserve support and pathways when possible. That truth has never left me.

One of my proudest moments came when my father finally became a patented inventor at the beautiful age of 73. Walking him through that process—side by side with my sister and my mother—remains one of the greatest honors of my career and my life. It was more than a patent. It was justice for decades of unseen innovation. It was proof that it is never too late for ideas to be protected, believed in, and brought forward. That moment crystallized my calling.

My mother gave me my greatest inheritance: faith, taught not through words but through daily action. Her consistency, strength, and trust in God shaped how I see the world and my responsibility within it. Because of them, my relationship with God and the support of my husband and daughters, I am committed to ensuring that small businesses, brands, inventors, creatives and underserved communities have access—to resources, to knowledge, to tools, and to belief utilizing the gifts they have in their hands. Everyone deserves the chance to create, to build, to innovate, and to become.

Sailove Holdings LLC exists to ensure that access is no longer the barrier it once was. Grounded in the faith my mother taught me through her daily actions—the greatest gift I have ever received—I am committed to equipping small businesses, brands, inventors, artists, entertainers, creatives, and underserved communities with the resources to create, innovate, and become. I also carry a responsibility to steward the gifts in my own hands as a creative, artist, and producer of meaningful entertainment and art, so that the Upstate, this nation, and the world can witness the beauty and light being built in partnership with others.
